Trickbox

TrickboxTV manage Tower Bridge TV Studios, which will act as the studio hub for the live broadcast. The studio is a fully equipped HD studio facility with spectacular views of the London skyline, and the Trickbox team come with plenty of experience of delivering complex live broadcasts.

G&T Productions

A TV production company from South Africa, they have been making fishing television series for South Africa’s Supersport network since 2005. These include WildFly, Inside Angling, Hooked on Africa and Hooked on Travel. Capitalising on South Africa’s love of sports and the outdoors lifestyle two other series broke new ground: Hooked on Rugby coincided with the 2011 Rugby World Cup and saw the stars of the rugby world indulging their love of fishing, and Hooked on Cricket, for the 2015 Cricket World Cup, followed a similar format.

Since 1964, Fly Fishers International (FFI) has been an organized voice for fly fishers around the world.  We represent all aspect of fly fishing –from the art of fly tying and casting, to protection of the natural systems that support healthy fisheries and their habitats so essential to our sport.  Today, our mission is to ensure the legacy of fly fishing for all fish in all waters continues by focusing on conservation, education and a sense of community.

Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) is a non-profit organization that is leading the drive – in partnership with industry and government, and through its brands Take Me Fishing and Vamos A Pescar – to increase participation in recreational boating and fishing in the USA, thereby helping to conserve and restore the country’s aquatic natural resources.

The Bonefish and Tarpon Trust

The Bonefish and Tarpon Trust is a non-profit organisations working to conserver and restore bonefish, tarpon and permit fisheries and habitats through research, stewardship, education and advocacy. Their work is science-led and done in collaboration with other institutions and governments.

The Angling Trust

The Angling Trust is the governing body for angling in England and Wales, lobbying government, campaigning on environmental and angling issues and running national and international competitions. The Angling Trust seeks to develop grass roots participation particularly amongst groups who have yet to discover the joys of going fishing.

Get Fishing

‘Get Fishing’ is the Angling Trust’s campaign to get more people fishing more often. It’s funded by the Environment Agency and introduces thousands of newcomers to angling each year at hundreds of events listed at www.getfishing.org.uk. There are now over 30 fun, safe and friendly World Fishing Day events for all ages and abilities on www.getfishing.org.uk which will be run by Licenced Angling Coaches and trained Angling Volunteers.

Casting for Recovery

Casting for Recovery is a charity which provides an opportunity for women whose lives have been profoundly affected by breast cancer to gather on an all-expenses paid retreat at a stunning venue to learn the beautiful art of fly fishing. Just as importantly, the retreats offer an opportunity to meet new friends, share stories, support others and, crucially, have fun.

Marie Curie

A charity which provides care and support for those living with a terminal illness, and their families in the UK.

Riverwatch

A society for the protection of rivers with the aim of conserving the last unimpaired rivers and restoring those already canalised and or dammed.

Project Healing Waters

Project Healing Waters is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the physical and emotional rehabilitation of disabled active military service personnel and disabled veterans through fly fishing and associated activities including education and outings.  The organisation is considered an innovative leader and model in the field of therapeutic outdoor recreation for the disabled, through its successful application of the sport of fly fishing as a rehabilitation tool.

Wild Trout Trust

WTT is a conservation charity that encourages and supports local efforts to protect wild trout populations around the UK and Ireland. The trust focuses on practical habitat improvement projects by working with grass roots organisations – such as angling clubs and local conservation groups – to offer advice, support, inspiration and  practical skills.

Atlantic Salmon Trust

Founded in 1967 the AST is a charitable organisation dedicated to ensuring the survival of salmon and sea trout. They work with partners to carry out research into the issues affecting these amazing species, and using the resulting data to encourage policymakers to take action.

Trout Unlimited

Founded in Michigan in 1959, Trout Unlimited today is a US non-profit organization with about 300,000 members and supporters dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.

Their staff and volunteers work from coast to coast to protect, reconnect, restore and sustain trout and salmon habitat on behalf of today’s anglers and coming generations of sportsmen and women who value the connection between healthy, intact habitat and angling opportunity.

Get Hooked on Fishing

Get Hooked on Fishing is a UK-wide charity helping improve the lives of children, young people, their families and communities through fishing.  The charity works with schools and other community groups as well as hosting Family Fishing Days in partnership with the Angling Trust and regular ‘Have a go!’ sessions suitable for all.  

Salmon and Trout Conservation

Salmon & Trout Conservation (S&TC) is the UK’s voice for fish and water conservation. Their goal is for UK waters that support abundant and sustainable populations of wild fish and all other water-dependent wildlife.

They aim to inspire, inform, involve and influence everyone who can take action to safeguard our water environments.

Fishing for Schools

Fishing for Schools started in 2008 and offers young people the opportunity to discover the joy of fishing, whilst learning new skills in a fun and proactive way. It is delivered by the Countryside Alliance Foundation and world famous angler Charles Jardine, and to date over 2,000 students have benefited from Fishing 4 Schools.

The charity helps pupils re-engage with education, building their confidence and self-esteem, while at the same time assisting with new qualifications and skills.

Hubbub / Fishing for Plastic

Hubbub is an environmental charity that creates fun and innovative behaviour change campaigns that inspire people to make healthier, greener lifestyle choices, which more often than not help save money and bring people together.

Hubbub’s latest initiative ‘Plastic Fishing’ is an educational volunteering opportunity which involves fishing for plastic along Canary wharf’s docklands waterways. Volunteers are taken out in Poly-Mer, the world’s first boat made from 99% recycled plastic, and a fleet of smaller boats. 

The Ike Foundation

The Ike Foundation’s motto is “Together we can Hook ’em Early”. Founded in 2014 by professional bass angler Michael Iaconelli and his wife Becky, The Ike Foundation supports youth fishing clubs, civic groups and charitable organisations that promote the sport of fishing, the ecology of the outdoors and the responsibility each person has to maintain our planets natural resources.

World Fish Migration Day

World Fish Migration Day is a one day global-local event to create awareness on the importance of open rivers and migratory fish.

On World Fish Migration Day organizations from around the world organize their own event around the common theme of: CONNECTING FISH, RIVERS AND PEOPLE.

Anglerverband Niedersachen

The Anglerverband Niedersachsen is an umbrella organisation of angling clubs in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. With about 95.000 members it is both the biggest angling association and the biggest nature conservation organisation in the Federal state of Lower Saxony.

Federation National de la pêche en France

FNPF is the institution representing freshwater fishing and the protection of the aquatic environment in France. They seek to develop the sport of fishing in France, especially with your people, promote aquatic biodiversity and provide environmental and sustainable development education initiatives.

Deutscher Angelfischerverband

The Deutscher Angelfischerverband is the umbrella organisation of national and special associations representing the interests of all German anglers. The Association has a total of around 520,000 members and is one of the largest conservation and environmental associations in Germany.
